STUPID POST. Are you certain this isn't a troll attempt?

1) Questions about sendmail should be on "comp.mail.sendmail", not in any of
the three newsgroups it was posted to. If you had bothered to go to this
group, you would see that this is one of the more frequent questions and you
would have an answer.

2) Many major sites do not accept DIRECT email from dial-up lines (including
DSL, cable modems, 802.11 wireless ports, etc.). ISP customers should be using
their ISP's outbound mail server as a relay, and many tell this to their
customers when first signing up. To make sendmail do this, see the setting for
SMART_HOST.
