usr sportster won't answer call

usr sportster won't answer call
at root account
minicom

I entered ats0=1 and at&w0

then in window 98 se I dial in ok.

but when it is reboot .
at&w0 is not writing into the current profile.

modem won't answer at all.
do u know why?

is there my "at&w0" wrong? it is not writing the "ats0=1" into the modem
profile.
