I might have increased the confusion a bit as well :) -- at this time
both projects are under the same maintainer, and are merging toward the
Int'l Patch. He did release a patch-int-2.4.20, but I think it has been
some time since the last cryptoapi release. I recommend using patch-int
with Jari's loop patch (also available at the same FTP URL.)

What I think happened is that the previous maintainer (kerneli.org) gave
it up, and HVR started his own replacement project as a drop-in set of
modules. Now HVR is maintaining the Int'l Patch, and I see that now
http://www.kerneli.org/ is about cryptoapi and patch-int.
