Take a look at /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2 more carefully.
For example it's for 111/sunrpc:
#if [ -x /sbin/rpc.portmap ]; then
# echo "Starting RPC portmapper: /sbin/rpc.portmap"
# /sbin/rpc.portmap
#fi
