I have
one firewall one external server and one server behind the firewall
I am trying to setup ipchains to allow a connection from the external
to be passed through the firewall and connect to the machine on my
internal network .
The service is running on the internal machine on port 9000 but cannot
so far I cannot connect to the internal machine from the external
machine through the firewall . I thought that I could tell the
firewall to redirect all requests on port 9000 to the 192.168.1.100 (
internal I address )
using IPchains . Is this possible ?? What kind of ipchains do I need
to setup
. unfortunately my firewalling experience is limited .
