hello all,
we are trying to use ssl with a web product that will run on linux
2.4.19/apache 1.3.x. this site will mostly be used by staff ouside the
building. we want to use ssl, but i am having difficulty with generating
a "self signed" certificate that will be accepted once by our
users...mostly ie6 sp1.....that will not at the same time re-ask them to
accept the certificate again the next time they come to the site via
https. am i missing something here to be able to create a self signed
certificate and have the users accept it just once rathe than having to
go to a CA and purchase a certificate?
thanks for all of your help!!
