... for every 1 SPAM / scam / UCE that I receive in English, I receive
about 150 in Korean ... go figure!

If the spam is originating fromt he USA, you't think that at least they
woulc be able to comprehend these simple lines:

"I do NOT read, write, or speak KOREAN.
I do NOT wish to receive ANY Unsolicited Commercial Email from KOREA."

... or is this level of language _too complicated_ for Korean-Americans?

As the original poster of this thread, I forgot to mention LYCOS.KOREA
is also another producer of spam. This has been verified by LYCOS.COM who
have responded to a few hundred of my complaints and contacted
LYCOS.KOREA, and the Lycos European site.(The latter, just three or four
times now).

Not surprisingly, abuse@lycos.com.kr,bounces back any complaints sent to
them.Likewise the webmaster@hanafos.com (HANANET.NET)

To get an idea just HOW BAD the problem has become, I've even received
SPAM from Korea, where only the headers came through with the following
notice:
"iPlanet-SMTP-Warning: Lines longer than SMTP allows found and
truncated." .. it was from some Korean lottery or the other ....
