I'm not sure I agree with you here Kasper... why would you want to
remove cached data, if there's not a shortage of RAM? (maybe you were
talking about only in that case) How do you know the file contents,
or directory data, won't be used again soon? How soon is soon, how
long is too long? I've always thought this model was very efficient--
what's in RAM is not hurting you if you don't need more RAM. Am I
misunderstanding you?
