No kidding. I had a headless machine tucked away in a closet serving as
a one end of a wireless link. I put it there because that's where radio
reception was ideal, but I had to move it elsewhere, because somebody
kept turning it off. I hung a sign on it that said:
"Leave this computer on. Under no circumstances should this computer be
turned off - EVER."
It had no effect. So I disconnected the power/reset switch internally.
It didn't help, because the power cord was still accessible. This is
when one realizes that perhaps violence IS a viable solution :-\
