it's really just an issue w/ mdk 8.2 it doesn't just put things on your menu
all the time buh if you'll look under the configuration>network>firestarter
you should find it... if ever in doubt run kdesu -u root -c "firestarter"
that will start it as far as the doclet.. i'm not sure i've ever seen it!
