You seem to be logged in as a normal user (uid=501) so you would need a bit
more info to determine what actually happens here
as what user do you log in ?
is this a user you have deleted, then re-created ?
have you _installed_ anything as this (deleted) user ?
have you su'ed to this user ?
from this user to root ?
please be more specific
