Question about Netscape and Multiple Links to NNTP

For a while, when composing in Netscape I get the compose frame to come
up and immediately a second identical layer on top. I cancel then rehit
compose, reply, etc.
Also quite a few times NETSTAT says I have two NNTP links going.
Any irregualrities here.
