Many is a term of art.* And advertising seems to imply, at least when
it is offensive, a goal of selling something. I put some information
in my sig regarding a political issue. I don't see why that offends so
many people.
*Unless we are trolls, in which case "many" is four: one, two, three,
many, many one, many two, ... lots.
