the other FAQ's requires also a lot of attention; you need for every
language a good translator.
I will give it a try after you post the original english ( I hope ) version.
Without it it's sometimes very hard to understand what the FAQ wants to tell
me.
Give me a week ( maybe two? ) after your english FAQ posting. It takes a
lot of time to translate it from dutch to dutch :-).
( for example 6.1 havens (dutch FAQ) = harbour ( eng ) ; kanal (german FAQ)
= canal or channel ( eng ) ; port (french FAQ) ah-ha you mean port (eng )
; so 6.1 should be poorten or poort. I'm used to the english word "port" but
I have to look in a dutch manual to be sure if 'poort' is the correct word).
Sometimes I really have no idea what the FAQ tries to tell me.

This is a once-only offer if that's no problem. You have to do the PDF part.
There are no problems with copyrights if I translated it to a readable faq?
The good news for you ;;-)) is that someone looked at the FAQ, but the bad
thing for me is that I hope to have enough TCP/UDP/Internet knowledge.

What about firewalls-faq@interhack.net named in the FAQ?
Maybe it's much better that I send an email to this email address to be sure
that I'm the only one translating it and not somebody else just finished a
translation. Or give me an email address in your reply I could use to
contact you.
