Logout, then login.

Killing and restarting explorer.exe (which gets used as the desktop GUI)
results in losing tray icons for applications that don't update their
status. The application is still loaded and responsive but they don't
refresh their icons, probably because that would result in a bunch of
flickering icons and waste CPU cycles to report the same status as
before (i.e., the status is the same way more often than when it
changes). However, I have seen stopping and reloading the application
still does not show its tray icon. Maybe configuring the tray to NOT
hide icons would make those show.
