Yes, Jim, I would agree; since these messages are posted for the protection of all, and in order to guard against unwarranted harassment of the kindly and thoughtful poster, they are posted through a chain of 15 random Mixmaster remailers before being deposited to a random mail2news gateway. That is why there is always at least a 24+ hour delay from posting to appearance in the groups.

Now, of the ones that are posted directly to the UseNet, not via a mail2news gateway, they are posted via a chain of 4 to 5 elite SSL proxies to either an anonymous nntp account or to a public nntp service that allows posting. Moreover, each proxy in the chain is in a different country not friendly to the US, say as just recently: Argentina to Mainland China to Russia to Turkey to Brazil and then to public nntp server for propagation; the same chain is never used twice. So, search away, and the best of luck to you.

Now then, moreover, I find it most undemocratic for you to entertain such notions; to attempt to silence someone who is trying to help others is most unkind to your fellow man, don't you agree?

BTW, I thought that you were some kind of computer expert, doesn't sound like it to me. Organic chemistry is my area of expertise, with concentration in reaction mechanisms concerning organometallic (Grignard and others) synthesis and NMR spectro work, just a tad bit more complex then your average computer science (networking) job. But then, I'm very low key.
