well its like this we work for a company which is located within another
company who have no direct control over us although they make sure we arent
late etc for the actual compnay we work for. there is only the 2 of us and
noone else uses the systems. Ive been
tinkering with pcs for ages and know how to look after them and what not to
do/delete.

I would just like a bit more access especially to do the display properties
and to have the option to kill processes. the problem is we are based 100's
of miles from the it team and it takes them a few weeks to come and fix
somthing i can fix in a few minutes.

I even had to set up our own network with hubs etc whilst trying to do my
work as it would have taken them around 3 weeks to do this ...

I have asked but have been told that it will be reviewed within 6 months,
we cant go on for another 6 months with the restriced access they have
granted us its making life very difficult!
