I've found GHOST to be a great tool in making/restoring local images,
networking, and bootable restore images. I've yet to have a problem with
it, and been using it since it came out from the company that developed
it.

We use it for re-imaging our training centers machines - use to be from
a drive image, then from a network image. Painless and simple. If your
team is having problems I suspect that you have hardware problems that
are also causing you problems you may or may not know about.
