I don't use e-mail scanning, but I wonder if that "delete" policy is
selectable between the different types of scan. Even if so, in lieu
of having the AV constantly annoy me with "what do you want to
do?" prompts, I would much rather have it set to silently quarantine
than silently delete because AV can false positive on e-mails too.

You would be surprised at how many people trust their AV to
silently delete what it thinks is malware.
