my brain lock, sorry.
I remember that there was a virus that masqueraded into
the puter by using a double extension.
maybe it has to be attrib as a system file??
or maybe an earlier OS...
or maybe an outlook attachment????
whatever.
bottom line: IMHO AVG is a decent prog.
& one should NEVER trust one detection method.
don't believe me? go read a few comparative reviews.

No I didnt, it's called msinfo.exe thats how it appears in the
directory/folder listing.
If there was a . <somethingsle> I think I would have see it.somethingelse
