Right here is a BIG security hole. HTML enabled e-mail.

Switch to text only. The only people who need html e-mail are the ones
sending advertisements. Scrwm.

I'm trying to find a freeware e-mail and ng reader that CANNOT be set
for anything but text, just to play it safe.

(That's for my win98SE HDD, no trouble with the xnix drives.)
