That's debatable. And I never said they didn't beef up security, they just
didn't beef it up enough.

I suggest you try that. I commented on the attitude of Microsoft. I made no
mention of Linux security issues and I certainly made no comparison between
the two.

Unfortuantely for playing games my pc kicks the *** out of all the
consoles. I know, I've got them. Also you get better value with PC games;
they're cheaper and you can play online for free, and download a shitload of
new addons in most cases for free. And FYI I made no choice "for XP" I made
a choice of how I would like to use my PC. At the moment to play games, you
have to have XP. I also will be installing Linux at some point for some
server work. At least in that department there is a choice, you can do
server stuff on either platform.
