This tip is for XP Home edition.
In XP Home edition, there is a Hidden Administrator account.
When the computer starts, Press the F8 key to get the boot menu.
Boot into Safe mode.
Then login as administrator, and CHANGE/SET the administrator password.
The default is No password.
Then change his forgotten password
(The REAL Administrator account does not need the old password to change it)
