Thanks Leythos. I appreciate your help. I've printed out what you have
said about it being set up to talk with my router, etc. Hopefully, since
Earthlink will not support it, Linksys will help me through the installation
if need be.
I'll go ahead and order it today.
My ISP (Earthlink) has answered me and has said the following:

We understand your concern regarding the Earthlink router.
Please note that the router will work on the DSL connection, but we do not
provide any technical support.
