On a Linux system, I can hack the source so that only the functions
I want are possible. On a Windows 2000 system, I have to rely on the
control interface Microsoft makes available. Thus in theory
I as a Linux admin have more ability to secure the platform than
I do as a W2K admin. It's the implementation.
