Help, weird large files

Hi,
Am I being hacked?
Large files (100Mb+) keep on appearing on one of my partitions
and I cannot find why, how and by what program.
These are some of the names:
H:\d_err.001
H:\d_err.002
H:\C.wa1.err
H:\TestD.wav
I use H: for temp files only as it is beyond 8Gb barrier and
Norton will not service it.
They wouldn't open with anything, not even the wav file.
In text editor it is just a mess.
I have an old P100 with Win95a updated, which runs 24/7 dialup
internet connection behind ZoneAlarm 2.6, DNSkong and
Proxomitron (the last two are recent addition but didn't stop
those files from reapearing).
The machine is used for Internet and private administration.
I don't run grafics nor sound software on it as it is too slow.
Have another XP for that purpose.
Run AdAware and SpyBot, nothing dangerous found.
Initially I saved some ot those files on CDRs because I did't
know what to do but now I just delete them. It looks like no
harm is done, but what worries me is the possibility that
somebody is using my system while I am sleeping.
Currently, only I have access to the system.
Any help will be appreciated.
