Actually, if you read what I said, instead of making assumptions and
reading things into it, you'd clearly see that I said the following
(I'm going to break it down, just so that you can understand it, ok?).
"Use anti-virus software,"
Well, you see, Ant, that means exactly what it says. I'm not sure how
you confused it, but, you did. Maybe your third grade education needs
to be repeated.
I then went on to say, "but more importantly, keep it up to date with
the latest virus definitions."
I'm sure that even with your limited intelligence, you can understand
the importance of using the latest virus definitions.
You see, Ant, virus definitions are updated for a reason. The updates
feature information pertaining to the latest viruses, information that
isn't necessarily contained in the original definitions that came with
your anti-virus software (especially so if the install CD has been
sitting on the shelf for 3-6 months).
So, to put this in simple terms (especially for you Ant), you should
use anti-virus software, and more importantly, you should also keep it
up-to-date.
If you don't, it's just something sitting there, using up valuable
resources.
Hmmm, that sounds a bit like you, doesn't it, Ant?
But anyway, I'm astounded by the number of people/businesses/companies
that believe that they are completely safe from computer viruses
simply because they use anti-virus software, without ever having
updated their virus definitions.
Now, my question to you, Ant, is:
Have you always been that stupid, or do you just take a lot of
illegal, brain cell destroying drugs?
Cheers,
Dazz
