If this is not the right group to ask this in, please forgive me and point
me to the correct one.
At our office, we have comcast.net run through a router feeding six
computers. I'm wanting to add another computer at a remote location such as
a home/office. If I have a cable modem, and router for that location, is it
possible to use the same account, or would a new account need to be created?
I notice in my router set-up that I can clone the MAC address to match the
one at the office, but doesn't comcast use the MAC address of the cable
modem?
If... I decide that I have to use a dial-up account, is it still possible to
use the router/WAP/wireless NIC to network the pc and laptop? Actually, I
can probably do this without the router though... right?
Thanks in advance for your help.
