The question got me thinking. Don't have too much forensic
experience, but how does a software program, presumably running on the
same harddisk, be able to erase the hard disk in which it is also
resident, although point taken that it could load fully to the RAM.
But there must be some amount of writing or reading from the disk
while the program is under operation, or am I wrong. Also, if it gets
fully loaded into RAM, and the disk is getting erased, we might also
assume that the OS also gets erased. So even if the software is still
in the RAM, how does it execute? I know the questions are very novice
and may have very simple answers, but would appreciate if someone
could clarify these doubts,
Regards
