It's an effect of the recent virus that sends itself pretending to be a
Microsoft security patch.
Don't worry about it. I have been getting the same messages on my Yahoo
public account. Not only the bogus patch, but the undeliverable email
message.
If you want to make yourself a whole lot safer, the easiest and quickest
thing you can do is get Outlook Express off your machine. It's the most
common target of these worms and viruses, because it's so easily
compromised. There are other free email programs which aren't so
vulnerable.
I say "so" vulnerable, because the one time I got infected, it was a Eudora
virus, and my guard was down because I trusted Eudora to be safe. "Never
trust anything" is the best motto.
Getting rid of OE is so easy. Control Panel>Add/remove programs>Windows
Setup. Uncheck "Address Book" and Window will complain that it will have to
uninstall Outlook Express if you leave that box unchecked.
Bingo!
