To ANY professional, a Webserver is a HTTP-Server. A SMTP-server is a
mailserver, a NNTP-Server is a newsserver, a NTP-server is a
timeserver, and a FTP-server is something to be avoided if possible.

It might seem like nitpicking to you, but professionals want to be
precise about things - it safes us from a lot of confusion. Besides,
mailservers have been around LONG before the "web" was even
invented...
