To me as an end consumer of security products I do not really give a hoot
whether the original bug is released for self-gratification, spite, or $$$.
Motive be damned, I care that I am made aware of a vulnerability and can
find the resources to close it. :)
RFP and others in here end up helping me keep my systems secure. I do not
care about the "why", I am just thankful that Vuln-dev, Bugtraq, et al are
around.
*I love you guys (and grrlz)*. I mean, ummm, how bout those new G5 specs.
;)
My USD 0.02,
