trusted computing and virtualization

Hi all,
Trusted computing and virtualization are two different technologies, but why do so many security projects like OpenTC, EMSCB and INTEL TXT combine these two technologies together while in TCG's specification there's nothing on virtulization? What are the virtues of Trusted Computing Platforms with virtualization in contrast with Trusted Computing Platforms without virtulizaiton? Can anyone explain this?
