Thank you guys for all the information provided.
I always felt that credability would be an issue, and end users might eventually get tierd of accepting expired certificates that an attacker could easily push a self generated certificate resulting in a man in the middle!!

Really appreciate the suggestions provided to ensure validate certificates.
