I mean, apart from the usual money saving aspect
of having a free ride on other people's money,
( at home) what else is the risk?

In practical terms, what happens when the freeloader turns out to be motivated by the desire to be untraceable because they are committing illegal acts, and the authorities come knocking on your door after tracing the IP back to you? (yes, tracing it back is trivial)
