SMTP Traffic Replay

Hi,
We want to evaluate 2 Anti-Spam solutions in our
environment and would like to compare the same traffic
on both boxes.
Ideally, it would be some kind of traffic recorder
that could save and replay it on the 2 boxes
individually and compare the results.
Otherwise, if you put them in-line one at a time you
are not comparing the same email traffic.
We would prefer an appliance base solution but all
ideas are welcome.
As anyone gone through this testing phase before ?
Thank you
