All-in-One Fax/Printer Security Question


Hello All,


I am in th process of evaluating an All-in-One Fax/Printer/Copier. My questions involves the overall security of the device, i.e. IP Forwarding between interfaces.

Has anyone on list done any research on the subject? Can a packet received on the modem interface be passed to the ethernet interface, or vice versa? i know the HP Jetdirect stack is weak at best but i'd like some input. If there are any

for what it is worth it is an HP LaserJet 3390 All-in-One.
