RE: Secure installation of Windows XP?

Lots of people around here install behind a residential grade
router (i.e. Linksys router) with DHCP turned on. Then once Windows XP
is patched and has anti-virus installed, they move the machine to the
production network.

minutes. So I wonder, what is the procedure to install Windows XP in a

PS : In case there are any other Danes on the list, I posted a similar
