Subject: non-programmer security wannabes /(needed) programming skills
Hi everybody,
I want to get the ideas of you and let this general
topic to get in the place on the list.
What do you think, what are the basic programming knowledge-skills
(background, algoritm, languages etc) needed by someone who wants to be a
security professional?
There is an article at securityfocus talking about the
tcp-ip knowledge requierments. Maybe if there would be
a series of articles talking about main subjects
(OS,programming, protocols, hardware, coffee making etc) on securityfocus or
somewhere they will be very usefull for newbies.
Thanks alot
