re:death of security community

I,for one,believe that"the security community"per se,needs to learn from the times and grow with the ability of the average user.The general user(browse the internet.e-mail,etc)is not going to further the train of thought of a network and all that's involved with securing such.
Find people who where possibly 'script kiddies' at one time in their life and see how well they(at least the ones who learned from their experience)learn and advance.
Don't get me wrong.A person with that kind of history could turn on you in a minute.
And I thought this *** was for real!!!!
That,to me,will speak worlds for the future of security,iIMHO.
