Is there is any place online from where i can download
collection of viruses especially latest ones for testing
purposes or there is any software available that create fake
viruses or something like that. I read about certain
newsgroups, where if you place your email address they send
you viruses, but i want to
be able to download them. Since yahoo gmail etc block viruses
and doesnt allows to download them.
Thank You
I believe the eicar "virus" will test virus programs.

My problem with Eicar is that every AV vendor already knows to scan for Eicar, so if I want to do my own in-the-wild test, Eicar doesn't exactly cut it. (It's been interesting to drop Eicar into various archive configurations though.)
