Cisco Press books are the best, in my opinion. They're written by Cisco
engineers and get into great detail of the inner workings of their
technologies. The Cisco website is also a great tool. If you're not into
the very "technical" talk and prefer things in a simpler manner, then go
with the Unleashed branded books. They too are very good.

I have three Cisco books that I'm trying to learn myself. $120 worth of
reading material.
1) Cisco - A Beginner's guide
2) Cisco PIX firewall
3) CCSP Self-Study:
Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced (CSPFA) http://www.ciscopress.com
