    Just to add to the confusion...
    From the last email you might think that DoD is all MS.
    Totally not true.
    I also work in DoD and we use, in addition to those mentioned previously:
    Gentoo RTOS
    VxWorks RTOS
    and Trusted HP-UX.
    C2 processors are never Wintel.
    Radars are RTOS.
    Proprietary routing is done on RTOS.

    DoD is a grab bag but generally more legacy than corporate.
