There are lots and lots of such product. I myself haven't tested any
appliance for this kind of solution, but I do have some experiences with
some software that you might be interested in.
1. Websense
Originally only provides a software-based solution, however, there are some
appliance that use websense as their web filtering engines, for example
BuleCoat ProxySG.
2. Smart Filter from Secure Computing
It's one of the bests in this field (Wensense is also one of them...). As my
memory serves me right, I did hear that there are also some appliance that
use Smart Filter as their web filtering engines. Sorry that I can't remember
the names of those appliances.
My recommendation is that you should check them out to see what's best for
you.

I've been tasked with coming up with a list of products to test that will
content scan web traffic for around 6k users.
Currently we use clearswift Mimesweeper for web, has anyone got any
experience of other software or appliances that would do the same job or
better ?
