    Buy a cable, but you'll still have to give a password.

    There are a couple of other standard id passwords on much 3Com gear.

    userid tech, password tech

    userid debug, password accounts

    Or the Nuclear option:

    userid 3comcso, password RIP000

    If you use that last one, you get in, but the configuration is cleared back
    to factory default.
