    Hi Matthew,

If you're looking for a simple yet secure solution, for both your users
and yourself, you may want to look into:

    OpenSSH - http://www.openssh.com/ and
    WinSCP - http://winscp.sourceforge.net/eng/about.php#remotehost

    WinSCP uses PuTTY - http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
in which Windows users can copy, move files securely using the ssh1,
ssh2 protocols. The GUI is a familiar Norton Commander- and
Explorer-like interface which your users will find quite comfortable to
use. Each user can issue their own keypair and send you their public
key, which you administer with permissions to your liking on the server.
The only port you need for all of this is tcp 22...

    Regards,

    Patrick
