Not if you don't have an existing MS server infrastructure.
If you've only got, say, Linux or Novell servers you don't
have the luxury of SUS without paying for an MS server
license and all the CALs needed to communicate with it.
So there is a lot of interest in alternative solutions
for patch management, even though it seems that MS
intentionally makes it difficult to use third party
products.
