In my opinion, getting a good education is a foundation for what ever you
want to do later down the road. Heck I went to 4 year school, then MBA, and
I still ask myself what I want to do... life changes. A degree is something
that nobody can take away from you. Plus when you start applying at the
jobs, almost all have bachelors required. If I were hiring and got 2 apps
with same skill levels, 1 with degree, 1 without, I'd pickup the degreed
resume first. The actual tech skills you learn in school may not be the
same as what's in the real world, but those change constantly anyways, so to
look 4 years down the road is anyone's guess. It proves you can learn and
put out the effort to reach a goal.

Yah, I wouldn't go to ITT if they paid me. My school is newer ( about 50
years old ) It's a 4 year program full colligate experience. They are
regionally accredited. Its not just that well known, but I plan on
getting my masters at a ivy school afterwards.

The reputation of the school is also very important. Don't make the mistake that I made and attend ITT Tech. Make sure the program stands up to the claims that it makes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
