    Keng: 2K/XP? especially ports 135 and 445. Thanks in advance for any inputs.

    Go into CONTROL PANEL --> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS --> SERVICES
    and disable the following services:

    1) TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service (Enables support for NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) service and NetBIOS name resolution.)
    2) Remote Access Auto Connection Manager (Creates a connection to a remote network whenever a program references a remote DNS or NetBIOS name or address.)
