Local Admin (WinFingerPrint it to tell what it is if you don't know, see
previous posts on how to tell) Administrator account is the administrator
account in use in the recovery console.

I mean for the recovery console. Changing the Administrator password does
not affect the recovery console administrator password. There is a
difference!

:That doesn't work it has to be the original password from the

HUH??? I have changed many a local admin password using another
account that is part of the admin group and never lost any settings
unless you have used the builtin encryption. But if that is the case
even using the linux boot disk will leave you SOL IIRC.
